Story Time ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Account information: Email address for authentication
- Child profile information: First name, age, and character preferences (provided by parents only)
- Usage data: Stories created, reading progress, and app preferences
- Subscription data: Subscription status and plan type (payment details are handled by Apple/Google)

- Track reading progress and achievements

Children's Privacy
Story Time is designed for use by parents with their children. Only parents can create accounts. We do not collect information directly from children. All child profile information is provided and controlled by parents, who can delete it at any time.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (hosting, authentication, story generation, payment processing). We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your information.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. You may also request a copy of your data.
How to Delete Your Data
You can delete specific data without deleting your account:
- Delete a child profile: Go to Settings → tap the child profile → Edit → Delete profile. This removes the profile and all associated stories.
- Delete individual stories: Stories can be removed by deleting the associated child profile.

How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app:
- Open the Story Time app
- Tap the profile icon to go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap "Delete account"
- Confirm deletion when prompted
What gets deleted:
- Your account and login credentials
- All child profiles you have created
- All saved stories
- Reading progress and achievements
- App preferences and settings
Important: If you have an active subscription, please cancel it in your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) settings before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. You can also request account deletion by contacting us at support@your-storytime.com
